Dr. Nessa Shekari is a dedicated, patient-focused dentist who brings both skill and heart to her practice. A graduate of Temple University, she has called Philadelphia home for 17 years and furthered her expertise through an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Hahnemann Hospital. After spending more than five years refining her skills in the suburbs, she is now providing comprehensive, high-quality care at Quaker City Dental and Race Street Dental Care.
As a general dentist in Philadelphia, Dr. Nessa prioritizes quality over quantity, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable, cared for and confident in their treatment. Her warm personality and engaging approach make each visit a positive experience—and don’t be surprised if you catch her singing during your appointment!
Outside of the office, Dr. Nessa is full of energy and enthusiasm. She can jump rope for an hour straight and loves pickup basketball, crossword puzzles, cooking and exploring new cuisines. A die-hard Eagles and Sixers fan, she enjoys traveling the world, with Amsterdam, Barcelona and Morocco among her favorite destinations. She also dreams of learning to play the bass guitar—one step closer to becoming a rockstar!
Dr. Nessa sees patients on Tuesday through Thursday at Quaker City Dental and on Fridays Race Street Dental Care.
